Before,
drama is commonly done in theatres by performers acting live before an
audience. Moreover it is made up of people not only those acting on stage but
also of people comprising the production, costume, props and effects, and many
other areas and departments. They all perform as one team for the drama to be
successful.
Scientifically,
drama is proven as a way of learning for children as they imitate their
environment by pretending or enacting the people, things, and events around
them. As such, drama has been widely and effectively used as a learning method
in schools and other educational institutions. Drama then was not limited only
in theatres but in other venues as well such as the schools. There are even
drama schools that offer drama courses and lessons to further develop one's
talent.
There are
several activities that can use drama as a learning tool and one of those is
through games. This is common in drama schools specifically as a warm-up activity.
Drama games are good for both child and adult as it helps to stir up the mind
for the body to react spontaneously. For a list of drama games that you can try
